DBX Material is completely replaced by new host bone in a time ranging from 4 to 10 months.

Endobon® manufactured by Biomet (Netherlands), is a natural, osteoconductive hydroxyapatite ceramic bone graft substitute. The company claim that the interconnecting pore system of Endobon® allows the new bone to grow through the whole implant leading to a stable osseous integration into natural bone. Endobon® has been used for clinical applications for more than 10 years. It is well established as a bone substitute material for metaphyseal compression fractures.

ENGIpore bone graft by Finceramica consists of an aporous hydroxyapatite biomaterial with a structure similar to that of natural bone.  The company claim that ENGIpore rapidly absorbs bio-active proteins, growth factors and bone precursor cells contained in the physiological fluids. This encourages and begins the biological cascade leading to effective bone regeneration.
